"Pegasus
Parade"
See a preview of this year's KPF Committee parade float as it debut's
in the Derby Festival's Pegasus Parade! That's right, Louisville's gay
community will be represented on national TV. The committee built a brand
new 30' trailer to Pegasus Parade standards. The float can be seen up
close at the Parade Preview, Tuesday, April 29th at the Kentucky Expo
Center from 5 - 9 PM. The Pegasus Parade will be on Thursday May 1st starting
at 5PM and runs on Broadway from Campbell to 9th St. A favorite corner
for the gay and lesbian crowd is at 2nd and Broadway where the Holiday
Inn has a cash bar available! There is room for a few more walkers with
the parade unit. Contact director@kentuckianapridefestival.com
for more info on walking. Shirts will be provided.

Vendors
We anticipate the largest participation ever this year
from community businesses and organizations. Retail vendors will be selling
all sorts of Pride wear, jewelry and even items for your pets. There will
be many professional service providers attending as well. Area churches
and organizations will have information about themselves and some will
be doing fundraising activities. Want to reserve your booth space? Down
an Booth Rental Application.
Friends Of
Pride
Friends of Pride are an elite group of people who support
the festival on an individual financial basis. In these increasingly tough
economic times, it is incredibly important that those who are able show
their financial support. Friends of Pride enjoy a few extra perks and
are invited to attend our exclusive FOP and Corporate Partner Pre-Pride
Party.
Want to come hob knob with this incredible group? Check out the FOP
information and make a contribution today!
